The fabric wrapping process uses acoustically transparent materials that allow sound waves to pass through the surface into the polyester fiber core. The breathable fabric maintains the open-cell structure required for effective sound absorption while providing a decorative finish.

Installation & maintenance

Panels can be installed using adhesive bonding to clean, dry walls. Mechanical fasteners are recommended for ceiling installations. Z-clip systems provide removable access for maintenance. Vacuum fabric surface with soft brush attachment. Spot clean with damp cloth and mild detergent. Avoid saturating the panel. Do not use solvent-based cleaners on fabric.

Fabric wrapping provides a breathable surface with 25 standard colors and lower material cost. Leather wrapping offers a wipeable, stain-resistant surface suitable for high-contact environments such as gyms, manufacturing shops, and kindergartens. Both use the same polyester fiber core with identical acoustic performance per density grade.

Yes. Use a sharp utility knife to score through the fabric and polyester core. Cut from the finished side to avoid edge fraying. Seal cut edges with fabric adhesive or edge binding tape if the cut edge will be exposed.

11mm panels primarily absorb mid-to-high frequencies (500Hz-4000Hz). 14mm panels extend absorption slightly lower into the 400Hz-500Hz range. For most speech-frequency applications (classrooms, offices), 11mm is sufficient. For music rooms or theaters, 14mm provides broader bandwidth absorption.

The polyester fiber core allows minor bending (radius greater than or equal to 1500mm) without creasing the fabric. For tighter curves, specify thinner 11mm panels. Leather wrapping is less flexible than fabric; consult technical sales for radius limits.
